In South Evergreen
Evoke 1923: Formally The Bistro At Marshdale, this old home features a working fireplace and one of the best menus in all of Colorado. Exquisitely prepared meals and a fabulous wine selection, this has “date-night” written all over it.
In Central Evergreen
Willow Creek: Another intimate date-night spot that overlooks Evergreen lake. Amazing in the summers, it’s family-owned and features farm-to-table meals and a fancy drink menu.
Bistro del Lago: A charming restaurant that is a culinary gem with farm-to-table food that embodies the essence of Italian cuisine with a modern twist in a great atmosphere and excellent service.
Lariat Lodge offers excellent beers and an upscale bar menu with pulled pork, wings, bratwurst and more.
Murphy’s Mountain Grill in downtown Evergreen is right on the river. It has amazing food and one of the best burgers around, with good outdoor patio seating.
Revival Brews: A great spot at the end of main street. Hand-crafted food and a great beer selection. Patio seating is great in the summer (for kids and dogs!).
Java Groove Cafe is not just coffee. They have some of the best lunch sandwiches around (and breakfast burritos!)
Cactus Jack’s Saloon. Located right at the intersection of the lake dam and downtown sits a historic dive bar and restaurant. But don’t let the bar vibes fool you, this place has amazing food, a great kids menu, a location right on the river for great happy hour, and tons of live music.
In North Evergreen
The Bread Lounge is a fantastic bakery and cafe with a full lunch menu.
Evermore Wine Cafe has wine, a full menu and even afternoon tea.

Lariat Lodge has good patios and an outdoor space for kids to prance about, same with Cactus Jack’s. and Revival Brews.
Casa Tequilas is a sit-down Mexican restaurant but it’s in the same building as Wild Game, a bowling and video game kid heaven (which has basic bar food like pizza, etc).
Colorado Creamery is a must for post-meal ice cream
Blackbird Cafe in Kittredge, just outside of Evergreen: Mountain Brunch & Lunch on the creek where kids can wander and play in water (seasonally, of course)
Switchback Smokehouse is also in Kittredge (near Blackbird) and is an amazing BBQ joint with smoked meats made in-house, sold until they run out! They have a patio by the creek that is great for kids - and next door is their ice cream shop, Switchback Sweet Shack. Also of note, run by a Michigan fan from Ann Arbor. Go Blue!
