Key Details

The Evergreen Longer Table is a volunteer-led event that is free to residents of Evergreen and surrounding areas.

Big Idea

  • Community is best found when participants have equal footing and nothing is a better equalizer than sitting across the table from a neighbor and sharing a meal. We are setting a table for all to be seen and heard, to create connections and build relationships.

  • No agenda! In fact, one of the only rules of the meal is that we don’t talk about work or politics!

  • This particular event is in conjunction with the Longer Tables’ 150 Tables Across Coloradoin celebration of our state’s 150th anniversary. The Evergreen Longer Table is one of 150 other tables happening across our state.

Location

  • The meal will be held at ______________________.

  • Tables, chairs, and restrooms will be provided.

What You Need to Bring

  • Nothing! Just bring your self, your curiosity and your appetite.

  • Well, 2 things actually: A water bottle (so we limit the amount of cups we have to provide) and a jacket (could get cool!)

Schedule

  • 4:30 p.m.: Doors open and you can mingle and find a seat by a neighbor you don’t know!

  • 5:00 p.m.: The meal (and connections) will begin

  • 6:00 p.m.: Begin to wrap up and clean up

  • 6:30 p.m.: Event ends but it’s only the beginning. Let’s start dreaming of next year!
